Celebrate Maple Sugar Season in Westchester

Learn how maple syrup and other yummy treats are made right here on your own backyard. The Stamford Museum and Nature Center in Stamford, Connecticut, www.stamfordmuseum.org, the Greenburgh Nature Center in Scarsdale, www.greenburghnaturecenter.org, and the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum in Cornwall, www.hhnaturemuseum.org, are all offering special events during maple sugaring season.

Ceramic Studio Mondays

Visit the Stepping Stones Museum for Children in Norwalk, Connecticut on Mondays at 3:30 and create ceramic masterpieces. Visit www.steppingstonesmuseum.org for more details.  $5 per child, children ages 3 and up.

St. Patrick’s Parade

Sunday March 18, don’t miss St. Patrick’s Parade in Eastchester. The parade will start at 3pm at the Immaculate Conception Church. To learn more visit www.st-patricks-day.com.

Little Farmers

Friday, March 30, visit Muscoot Farm in Katanoah and give your little farmer a hands-on opportunity to learn about farm animals. For children ages 3 and 4. 9:30am – 10:30 am or 1-2pm. Pre-registration required. Visit  www.Muscootfarm.org to learn more.
